Microsoft Azure management

We set up, secure and run your Azure tenant and everything in it: virtual machines, storage, networks and backups, with costs kept under control. Whether you’re moving off an office server or running a mix of cloud and on-premises systems, we look after it day to day.

  • Storage File shares and archive, private access only Healthy
  • Office connection Site-to-site VPN up, on-premises server visible in Azure Arc Healthy
  • Policies All resources in UK regions, encrypted and tagged Healthy
  • Spend 1 test VM left running, now scheduled to shut down overnight Review
One view of your whole Azure setup: what’s running, whether it’s protected, and where money is being wasted.

How we take on your Azure

Whether you already have a tenant or are starting from scratch, every engagement follows the same four steps.

1. Assess
We review what you have: subscriptions, resources, permissions, security score and spend. You get a written summary of risks and quick wins.
2. Design
We plan the structure: subscriptions, networks, naming, policies and who can access what, sized to your business rather than a large enterprise.
3. Build
We build or tidy it up, migrate servers and files, and document everything so nothing lives only in someone’s head.
4. Run
We monitor, patch, back up and review costs every month, and handle changes as your business grows.

What we manage

Everything in your Azure tenant, from the top-level structure down to individual machines and files.

Tenant and subscriptions

A clean structure makes Azure easier to secure, cheaper to run and simpler to audit.

  • Management groups and subscriptions organised by purpose, such as production and testing
  • Role-based access, so people only get the permissions their job needs
  • Just-in-time admin access with Privileged Identity Management, so no one holds permanent admin rights
  • Azure Policy rules that keep data in UK regions, require encryption and enforce tagging
  • Consistent naming and tags, so every resource has a clear owner and purpose

Virtual machines

Servers in Azure, without the hardware, built properly and kept healthy.

  • Built from hardened images and sized to the workload, not guessed
  • Scheduled patching through Azure Update Manager
  • Threat protection with Microsoft Defender for Servers
  • Monitoring and alerts for performance, disk space and availability
  • Secure remote access through Azure Bastion instead of open remote desktop ports
  • Test machines that shut down automatically out of hours

Storage accounts

Somewhere safe for your files, archives and backups, with the right level of access.

  • Azure Files shares to replace an office file server, with the same folder permissions
  • Blob storage for archives, with older data moved automatically to cheaper tiers
  • Private access only, with no storage exposed to the public internet
  • Soft delete and versioning, so accidentally deleted files can be recovered

Hybrid environments

Most businesses keep something on-site. We manage it alongside Azure, from one place.

  • On-premises servers connected through Azure Arc, so they’re patched, monitored and secured like cloud machines
  • Site-to-site VPN linking your office network to Azure
  • Active Directory synced to Entra ID, so staff have one sign-in for everything
  • Azure File Sync to keep frequently used files fast in the office while the master copy lives in Azure

Networking and security

Networks designed so only the right traffic gets in, and problems are spotted early.

  • Virtual networks and network security groups that limit what can talk to what
  • Microsoft Defender for Cloud, with your secure score tracked and improved over time
  • Passwords and certificates stored in Azure Key Vault, not in files or scripts
  • Activity logs kept, so every change can be traced

Backup and disaster recovery

A plan for when things go wrong, tested before you need it.

  • Azure Backup for virtual machines and file shares, with copies that can’t be altered
  • Azure Site Recovery to fail over to a second region if the first goes down
  • Regular test restores, so you know recovery actually works
  • Agreed recovery targets: how much data you could lose, and how fast you’re back

Web apps

Websites and business applications hosted on Azure App Service, with automatic scaling, deployments from your code repository and no servers to maintain.

Cost control

Azure bills by usage, so small oversights add up. We keep an eye on it for you.

  • Budgets with alerts before spending goes over
  • A monthly review that finds idle and oversized resources
  • Reserved instances and savings plans where they genuinely save money
  • Clear reporting, so you know what each part of Azure costs

Your tenant stays yours

We manage your tenant through GDAP (granular delegated admin privileges), Microsoft’s approved way for partners to access client tenants. You approve exactly which admin roles we hold, access is time-limited and has to be renewed, every action is logged in your tenant, and you can end the relationship at any time. Everything we build runs on your own subscription.
